Paradise Paper Pattern

The history of quilting is full of classic blocks that have been gently evolving over the past two centuries. Here the Union Square block has, with some deft colour placement, become an exotic flower before transforming into a brilliantly plumed bird of Paradise!

MATERIALS:

76” x 76” Finished Quilt

Part of 1 Layer Cake or 32 10” squares
5¼ yds neutral fabric for background
¾ yds green fabric
4¾ yds fabric for backing
84” x 84” Cotton Batting
¾ yd fabric for binding
