It's been a long time in the making, but the Primrose Hill Pattern Book is on its way to the shop. Previously published as the Today's Quilter block of the month - still pinching myself - all twenty five block patterns are now available in one place.
Although I've used a good deal of artistic license, my inspiration for this quilt is a real place. Primrose Hill is a village-like area of London, enclosed by the Regent’s Canal, the west-coast railway line and its namesake hilltop park, which has panoramic views over the city. Independent delis, tea-rooms, bookshops and boutiques fill Regent’s Park Road and the surrounding streets are dotted with pastel-coloured Regency townhouses.
My quilt mixes classic basket blocks with some brand new blocks that take us on a stroll through Primrose Hill's sunny spring streets.
The pattern book is also available on Amazon right now, so that you can have it delivered quickly and cost-effectively wherever in the world you live. Here's the listing on the UK site. As a side note, The Twelve Days of Christmas and Jardin de Lavande pattern books are there too (I know, it's taken a while).
And if you're a subscriber look out for a pattern book giveaway in my June newsletter! I am so thrilled to be sharing this pattern book with you,
Nicola xx
